Level 0 – Week 1 (Initial Benchmark)
Level 1 – Weeks 2 & 3
Level 2 – Weeks 4 & 5
Level 3 – Weeks 6 & 7
Level 4 – Weeks 8 & 9
Level 5 – Weeks 10 & 11
Week 12 – Final Benchmark
Progression Rules
- This is a progressive challenge.
- ALL requirements in a level must be 100% completed before moving on.
- No partial credit. No skipping tasks. No skipping levels.
- If a level is not fully completed within its assigned weeks, the participant remains at that level.
- Points, rewards, leaderboard placement, and raffle entries are only awarded after full completion.
Tracking & Accountability – ChallengeHound App
- ChallengeHound is the official tracking platform for this challenge.
- All points, tasks, and requirements must be logged in the app.
- Participants are responsible for logging their own completed tasks.
- Tasks not logged in ChallengeHound will NOT be counted.
- Leaderboard standings will be based solely on ChallengeHound data.
Social Media Verification
- All required social media posts must be completed during the assigned level timeframe.
- Each post must be public OR shown to a coach.
- A screenshot of each post must be uploaded to ChallengeHound as an attachment.
- Posts must tag The Backyard Strength & Conditioning or clearly reference the gym.
- No screenshot uploaded = no credit.
Ways to Win
- Most Improved – Based on effort, progress, benchmark improvement, skill development, and coach observation.
- Consistency – Awarded to participants who consistently attend classes and complete tasks weekly.
- Fastest Level Up – Awarded to the participant who completes all levels correctly and efficiently.
- Raffle Winner – Raffle entries are earned by completing levels. More levels completed = more entries.
Verification & Final Authority
- Coaches may verify attendance, skills, benchmarks, strength attempts, and submissions.
- If a requirement is unclear or disputed, coach decision is final.
CHALLENGE LEVELS & BENCHMARKS
Level 0 – Week 1 (Initial Benchmark)
- 500 meter row
- 20 wall balls (14/10)
- 10 burpees
- 200 meter run
- 1:00 plank
Level 1 – Weeks 2 & 3
- Attend 3 classes
- Complete 50 burpees
- Take a before photo (kept private)
- Hit daily water goal (1 gallon)
- Complete 3 social media posts with screenshots uploaded to ChallengeHound
Level 2 – Weeks 4 & 5
- Attend 2 classes in one week
- Complete a partner WOD
- 1-minute plank hold (2 times)
- Hit water goal at least 5 times
- 5 unbroken push-ups (box, bench, or floor – not wall)
- Complete 3 social media posts with screenshots uploaded
Level 3 – Weeks 6 & 7
- Row 2,000 meters
- 20 unbroken wall balls (14/10)
- Learn or attempt a new skill (double unders, kip swing, box jump, etc.)
- Hit daily water goal (1 gallon)
- Complete 3 social media posts with screenshots uploaded
Level 4 – Weeks 8 & 9
- Attempt a PR (a lift or movement you’ve done before)
- Complete a Hero WOD
- Max bike calories in 90 seconds test
- Hit daily water goal (1 gallon)
- Complete 3 social media posts with screenshots uploaded
Level 5 – Weeks 10 & 11
- Share progress, story, or transformation from the challenge
- Bring a friend or family member
- Timed mile run (your pace)
- Take an after photo (kept private)
- Hit daily water goal (1 gallon)
- Complete 3 social media posts with screenshots uploaded
Week 12 – Final Benchmark
